Zoo Med's new Gourmet ReptiSticks add a nich high protein treat to your turtle's diet with the addition of dried shrimp, mealworms and cranberries. Cranberries are a natural food item of many North American species of aquatic turtles. Zoo Med has over 30 years of experience researching the nutritional requirements of reptiles and developing foods that meet their needs. In nature, aquatic turtles eat animal and plant material as part of their natural diet. The ReptiSticks are made with fish meal, shrimp, and kale to simulate their natural diet.

Place a small portion of Gourmet ReptiSticks in the water and allow turtles to eat for up to 5 minutes. Remove any uneaten food after one hour. (Note: The floating cranberries can be left in the tank as some aquatic turtles take time to develop a taste for them.) If your turtles eat all of their food in a short time, you may want to increase the food amount to one level tablespoon, per turtle, or more per feeding. Feed turtles every other day (four times per week). Do not overfeed your turtles.
